Ctg-Cox’s Bazar rail movement resumes

 

The rail communication between on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar route resumed after three coaches of the Eid special train derailed at Dulahazara area under Chakaria upazila on yesterday morning. Golam Rabbani, station master of Cox's Bazar Railway Station, confirmed the information and said that the rail communication on the route remains normal through an alternative rail line.

Another train, the Cox's Bazar Express left Chattogram's railway station on time at 12:30pm, he added. Atiqul Islam, an official of Cox's Bazar Railway Station, confirmed the derailment, adding that the train, which departed Chattogram at around 7 am, met the unfortunate accident around 10am on yesterday. However, no casualties were reported in this incident, confirmed the railway official.
