The legendary hero and freedom fighter Faruk is no more (Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun. He died while undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. In the film he is known as hero Faruk but his real name is Akbar Hossain Pathan.
Actor Faruk's son Roshan Hossain Pathan confirmed the death. He said that his father died at 10 am local time in Singapore, around 8:30 am Bangladesh time today (May 15). Please pray for my father.
