Cheques from Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund were handed over to sick persons and sheep were distributed to 100 small ethnic group at Lalpur in Natore. In the organization of Lalpur Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital yesterday on Tuesday afternoon, checks were distributed among 100 small ethnic families and two sheep each to sick people. Shahidul Islam Bakul MP was present as the chief guest in the distribution ceremony. From the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund, checks of Tk 330,000 were handed over to seven sick people of Lalpur Upazila and two sheep were distributed among 100 ethnic minority families. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shamima Sultana was present in the event organized under the chairmanship of Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Chandan Kumar Sarkar, District Awami League Religious Affairs Secretary Babul Akhtar, Lalpur Upazila Awami League Vice President ASM Mahmudul Haque Mukul, Joint General Secretary Aminul Islam Joy and others.
