GST admission test held at HSTU

 

The GST admission test for the 2024 academic year of 24 general and science and technology universities of the country started on April 27. Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University (HSTU) under GST, conducted the admission test of the first-year humanities department in a fair and beautiful environment. The exam was started yesterday at 11 am and ended at noon.

At HSTU center, the total number of examinees in the said unit was 4739, and 4489 were present. After the commencement of the examination, University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Kamruzzaman visited various centers of HSTU.

At this time, he said, the admission test was held in a fair and beautiful environment. Today's exam attendance rate at the HSTU center was around 95 percent. Students and parents have been spared untold suffering due to the GST system. In this regard, everyone in the university family has worked with sincerity. Besides, District administration, Police administration, Medical College, Local administration including Fire Service gave us full cooperation.

He said, we have given importance to ensure that the admission test candidates and their accompanying parents do not suffer. HSTU Medical Center and Ambulance were kept ready round the clock to deal with any emergency health situation including ongoing heat wave and first aid medicine with one doctor at each centre. Apart from this, seating and freshwater were also provided in front of each academic building for the incoming examinees and parents to rest. Also, various service initiatives were taken, including transport arrangements for the examinees, washrooms, and transport of sick and physically challenged examinees to the center.
