On the occasion of the 51st founding anniversary of Bangladesh Krishak League, a tribute has been paid to the portrait of Bangabandhu by the initiative of District Krishak League in Kishoreganj. On Wednesday morning, leaders and activists paid tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu installed at the District Freedom Fighters Parliament office. Later, a discussion meeting was held at the District A League office. District Farmers League President Ahmed Ullah presided over the discussion meeting as acting president of District A League and chairman of Zilla Parishad Birmuktijoddha Zillur Rahman as the chief guest. Under the direction of Anwar Hossain Bachchu, the general secretary of District Krishak League, Badal Rahman, Secretary of Industry and Commerce of District A League, Enayet Karim Ami, Secretary of Forest and Environment Affairs of District A League, spoke as special guests. General Secretary of District Women A. League Bilkis Begum, Vice President of District Krishak League Neshar Uddin Khan, Organizing Secretary MA Hanif, Asaduzzaman Asad, Office Secretary Deepak Das, Member of Central Krishak League Aktaruzzaman Shipon etc. spoke. At the end, sarees, lungis and Punjabis were distributed as Eid gifts to hundreds of helpless low-income people.
