Poultry feed trader Daulat Hussain Khan (53) was brutally hacked to death by miscreants in Shibpur of Narsingdi due to previous enmity. The incident took place yesterday in Dattergaon village of the upazila. Deceased Daulat Hossain Khan's house is in Madhyapara village of Dattergaon in Masimpur union of upazila. According to the source of the deceased's family, Daulat Khan had an enmity with several local people due to his previous enmity. Miscreants managed to steal his truck battery on Saturday.
When the thief was chased, two people who were staying near the house attacked Daulat Khan with native weapons. Daulat Khan died on the spot. On receiving information, the police recovered the body from the spot and took it to the police station. Later from there it was sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Shibpur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Afzal Hossain said the case is under process. Criminals will be brought to justice quickly.
