The inauguration ceremony of the newly installed GM 403M Air Defense Radar at Bogura Radar Unit of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held today.
Respected Chief of Air Staff of BAF Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, nswc, psc graced the event as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the air defense radar.
As part of the ongoing modernization and development of BAF, new infrastructure and advanced equipment are continuously integrated. In continuation of this effort, the newly installed air defense radar has now been formally included in the operational assets of BAF. ‘Free shall we keep the sky of Bangladesh’ — with this solemn pledge, BAF has taken another significant step forward. This radar will play a vital role in enhancing the air defense capabilities of BAF. Additionally, the incorporation of this advanced radar system is expected to significantly improve the technological capability of the force.
On this inauguration occasion, senior military officers and other members were present.
