The conscious part of the dwellers of the lane pressed home their concern to the Motijheel thana yesterday 10.30 pm.
Before gave the written letter to thana, the inhabitants had arranged awareness program of narcotics.
Mahbub one of the inhabitants of that lane said, narcotics ruin our life, social values. We should follow a healthy life.
Md Jahangir Alam said, narcotics can destroy our life, family and society. We should avoid narcotics.
Morshed Alam said, Narcotics can hell our career, education and momentum of our life.
After finishing the awarness meeting, a team of local people went to thana for urging immediate action to neat and clean the society.

A confidential source confirmed that, there are an active racket of yaba market operate by Robu (40), Mrs Shakila (40), Shakil (38), Hanif (38) with a teenage gang lead by Hridoy (20).
There are no visible action taken by the law enforcement till the report writing.
