The Rotary Club of Motijheel has handed over wheelchairs to Biman Bangladesh Airlines` Hajj pilgrims. The wheelchairs were handed over recently at a ceremony held at Balaka Bhaban.
On behalf of Rotary Club of Motijheel, RTN, PP Abdus Shakur Chowdhury MPHF, MC, B, MD handed over 12 wheelchairs to Biman Bangladesh Airlines` Managing Director and CEO Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman.
Among others present at the event were Ashraful Alam, Director of Marketing and Sales Department of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, A,B,M, Rowshan Kabir, General Manager of Public Relations Department, RTN, PP Satya Ranjan Saha MPHF and RTN, PP Masih Malik Chowdhury FCA, LLB, FCS, MPHF of Rotary Club of Motijheel.
At the event, Biman`s Managing Director and CEO Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman said, "The addition of wheelchairs will make the Hajj pilgrimage more comfortable and safe for the pilgrims at the Hajj Camp and Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on behalf of Biman."
He thanked all the members of the Rotary Club of Motijheel.
