Biman organizes a seminar on Right to Info

A seminar on Right to Information was held yesterday at the head office of Biman Bangladesh Airlines in Balaka.

The chief guest of the event was Biman Managing Director and CEO Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman. Journalists working in the aviation sector as well as other senior officials of Biman, were also present at the seminar.

In his opening speech, the Managing Director of Biman thanked the journalists for participating in the seminar. The seminar discussed in detail the Right to Information Act, important contents of the law, related rules and regulations and the implementation strategy of these.

Biman‍‍`s Chief Information Officer, General Manager Public Relations A.B.M. Raoshan Kabir and Deputy General Manager Legal Affairs Md. Al Masud Khan delivered speeches at the seminar.

Biman‍‍`s Managing Director and CEO answered various questions related to Biman from the journalists at the event. The seminar expressed hope that such initiatives would play an important role in building a positive cooperation and accountability framework between Biman and the media.
